ACCU-SCOPE’s EXI-410 Inverted Microscope delivers outstanding optical performance, convenience, flexibility and value. Ideal for the daily rigors of tissue culture applications and more advanced observation methods, the EXI-410 features a newly designed NIS60 infinity-corrected optical path with long working distance Plan Achromat and semi-Apochromatic objectives and an extra-long working distance condenser.
The EXI-410 is available in three standard configurations featuring a selection of contrast methods including brightfield, phase contrast, emboss contrast and fluorescence, suitable to address a wide variety of applications.
The EXI-410-PH is ready for brightfield and phase contrast observation of live cells without the need for staining. This phase contrast model includes a pre-centered phase contrast slider for the condenser and Plan Phase 10x and 20x objectives. Plan Semi-APO Phase 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x objectives are available options. Add the optional mechanical stage and stage inserts to simplify sample movement and positioning. Emboss contrast (sold separately) generates a 3-dimensional relief-type view of cells and can be added to both phase contrast and fluorescence models of the EXI-410.
The EXI-410-FL is ready to accept your choices of LED fluorescence modules and fluorescence filter sets (up to 3 each) to meet the needs of your application. With built-in fluorescence illumination, there’s no need for external light sources and you save bench space! Optional phase contrast and emboss contrast accessories are excellent complements to fluorescence. Choose from Plan Phase, Plan Semi-APO Phase, Plan Achromat, Plan Semi-APO and Plan APO objectives to complete your microscope. The standard contrast shield reduces the effect of ambient light on the quality of your fluorescence image.
Illumination modules including the epi-fluorescence light source are seamlessly incorporated into the microscope body, creating a small system footprint, high stability, and reduced potential for accidents. Rubber feet provide vibration-dampening properties to improve image quality, especially at higher magnifications.
The illumination, focus and mechanical stage (optional) controls are ergonomically located for maximum comfort and easy access. The control positions are easily memorized for fast and convenient operation, often without the user needing to take their eyes away from the eyepieces. The viewing head binocular eyetubes can be rotated 180° clockwise or counterclockwise to raise the eyepiece height by an additional 35mm. The adjustable eyepiece height further accommodates multiple users who may differ in height or viewing preference.
The standard flat stage on the EXI-410 allows fast sample loading and positioning during routine observation. Add the optional mechanical stage for more precise specimen positioning, often needed during observation at higher magnifications. The mechanical stage readily accepts multi-well plates, and a variety of stage inserts are available to accommodate Petri dishes, standard microscope slides and slide chambers, and Terasaki plates.
Providing a variety of solutions to fit multiple applications, the EXI-410 objectives provide crisp, high-resolution images for routine and challenging imaging work. Lens choices include Plan Phase, Plan Achromat, PlanF Semi-APO Phase, and PlanF Semi-APO and our NEW full Apochromatic objectives.
Documentation, measure, share and publish images of the samples being studied. Monitors improve ergonomics during microscope use and allow for easy viewing of samples and collaboration with colleagues. Cameras mount to the side of the viewing head, permitting unrestricted viewing of the stage for sample positioning, and still permit easy access to the focus knobs and illumination control. With our Excelis HDS, the monitor can be mounted to the top of the illumination pillar (requires monitor mount) providing a comfortable “heads up” viewing position.
