The ACCU-SCOPE EXM-150 Series microscopes are easy to use and student-friendly. Designed to provide educators with a high-performance, student-proof instrument at an affordable price, the EXM-150 Series is an excellent choice for high schools, middle schools, technical institutes, hobbyists, and home-school settings.
Highly portable, it features a built-in carry handle, cord wrap, and rechargeable LED illumination for corded or cordless operation. The EXM-150 microscope is available in various configurations to meet your specific needs.
ACCU-SCOPE offers a wide range of advanced features in all our EXM-150 models. The rugged, cast aluminum alloy frame is compact, space-saving and light weight, while being robust to stand the rigors of the classroom environment. Separate coarse and fine focus knobs and focus travel lock reduce slide breakage and improve student success when focusing at high magnifications (i.e., using a 100x objective). An integrated cord wrap and rotatable viewing head make the EXM-150 easy to set up and easy to store.
Add our exclusive darkfield annulus and see your samples in a whole new light (requires model with iris aperture or Abbe condenser). Great for environmental samples!
Today’s classrooms require various viewing options to meet different needs and budgets. The EXM-150 Series offers several viewing head options to accommodate a multitude of learning environments: the standard monocular tube and two options for teaching tubes.
Developed specifically for the educational market, the EXM-150 Series gives you the option to choose your condenser type. Select from a 5-aperture disc, an adjustable iris diaphragm or choose top performance with an Abbe condenser.
Placing and moving slides on microscopes can be very challenging for students and educators alike. The EXM-150 offers two ways to load your sample onto the stage and then to position it for observation. The Easy Load stage clips use a single bar press action to allow fast and easy loading and positioning of a slide on the stage. Some models of the EXM-150 feature our true mechanical stage that is built into the stage and allows movement of the slide using traditional XY controls.
Engage your students with live images! Stream live video to monitors, computers or mobile devices with our digital imaging solutions for the EXM-150. The ACCU-CAM 500 eyepiece camera (USB connection to Mac or PC) can replace the eyepiece in a standard monocular model, or can be inserted into the teaching tube allowing use of both the monocular viewer and the camera. The ACCU-CAM WiFi camera can also be mounted in either eyetube, and boasts WiFi connectivity to a mobile device (phone or tablet) via our AccuView mobile app for Android and iOS. With our digital solutions, a single microscope can now support multiple students simultaneously for greater engagement and collaboration.
